As the web-master for Stonebriar Community Church (Chuck Swindoll, pastor), Jason encouraged many churches to adopt the same open-source (free) content management platform used for Stonebriar's web properties. Today, these churches and others are benefiting from the open-source software package now funded by the Foundation for Evangelism (i.e. Web-Empowered Church). The impact is real, from no up-front capital costs and a free support community of church web-masters and lay volunteers, to the interactive collaboration among churches of like and different denominations in the same neighborhoods (often for the very first time).

Prior to his work with Stonebriar, Jason worked as IT Manager for Insight for Living and Belo Corporation in Dallas, Texas. He regularly consults with small businesses during business and marketing planning, technology planning, and customer relationship management approaches. He is also a closet entreprenuer and inventor with a number of ideas consumer product ideas he is developing.

Jason is a graduate of Baylor University, a husband of one, and father of two. Hobbies include dreaming up new businesses, hunting, cycling, reading, backpacking, and blogging.
